Job Title: Fresher Hatchery Junior Technicians – Q-Sourcing Uganda Jobs 2021

Q-Sourcing Servtec Profile:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our client, we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced candidates to fill up the following positions in Uganda.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of electrical installation at the hatchery
- Monitoring the machines in the hatchery (setters and hatchers)
- Carry out routine hatcher maintenance after every hatch.
- Monitoring the ventilation system in the Hatchery and air conditioners
- Monitoring the day to day running of the chiller
- Prepare an elaborate service programme for hatchery equipment.
- Monitor the generator and keep a record of running hours.
- Advise the hatchery manager on electrical requirements.
- Troubleshoot any problem and report immediately to the manager.
- Keep a record of all equipment.
- Any other duties assigned by hatchery manager
Qualifications
- Passionate about positively impacting smallholder farmers and customers in rural areas.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any degree in related fields
- Two or more years of experience in Hatchery operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English, local languages)
- Carries a positive, inspirational attitude while working under pressure.
- Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and manage staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited follow up
- Adaptive and flexible; ability to learn quickly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while
- Delivering excellent work products
