Organization: KL Dickson Ministries International
Duty Station: Kanyandahi and Butunduzi
KL Dickson Ministries International Profile:
At the age of 16 years, Dr. KL Dickson gave his life to Christ through a mission by American students. He frequently went to church and sung in choir before in one of the churches in Kampala though had not given his life to Christ. After confessing Christ- He was challenged to experience the power in Jesus that people had talked about and hence changed church. Through Visiting Namirembe Christian Fellowship Church, his zeal for Christ was heavily rejuvenated due to what he saw; miracles and people being delivered including those whom he knew of their physical problems for long. It is then that he believed God existed.
Days after, he came to Fort Portal following up his car that had been wrecked by someone. During the visit, he was invited to go to hospital to pray for the sick, with only 3 scriptures he knew well then he asked them to be saved and commanded them to be healed; they got saved and believed for healing. He says “To my surprise the Doctor came in, who was also a teacher at my school, he expected to me to be in school then. He felt discouraged and knew I was messing up my future. But he said ‘if your God heals one person I will believe you because I know your God doesn’t heal”. God was very faithful.
The following day, “the Doctor was looking for me again. I thought people had died and almost ran away but he said to me, ‘Your God didn’t heal one person but everybody in the hospital, so I have come to give my life to Jesus”. Little did he know the people who were in the hospital were taking the word out into town. Many people started thronging in looking for a young boy called Dickson to pray for them for healing and deliverance. For the next 90 days it was miracles, healing and salvation. “That was the beginning of my ministry”. God assured Him of His presence and victory always.”
