Job Profile
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
a) Carrying out effective day to day electrical maintenance
b) Operating control instruments and equipment’s
c) Operating diesel generators and ensure that daily maintenance is carried out
d) Responding to emergencies such as fire and environmental hazards
e) Controlling processes and equipment associated with inputs for power generation such as fuel and water
f) Cleaning, lubricating and repairing equipment’s
g) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
i) A Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
ii) At least three years’ hands-on working experience in a manufacturing business and related projects
iii) Knowledge in Electrical repairs, installation and trouble shooting
