Job Profile
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) seeks to hire on a short-term basis qualified and experienced enumerators and anthropometric measurers to conduct a household survey and anthropometric survey in the local languages for the Graduating to resilience project in Kamwenge District. The survey will take place in the Rwamwanja settlement and the surrounding host community. The desired start date is 6th April 2021.
Contract Period is 3.5 months dependent on performance and subject to successful completion of one-week training.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct household surveys in rural communities (enumerators)
- Conduct anthropometry surveys in rural communities (measurers)
- Willingness to work long hours (Monday to Saturday).
Minimum Qualifications
Required
- Fluent in written and spoken of any of these local languages (Swahili, Kinyabwisha/Kinyarwanda and Runyakore) languages, English (MUST KNOW)
- Post-secondary education (Degree or Diploma)
Preferable:
- Experience in conducting face to face interviews (for enumerators)
- Experience in conducting anthropometry measurements (for measurers)
- Experience in conducting electronic data collection
NOTE: You MUST have a Tax Identification Number (TIN)
