FICO Uganda Jobs: The Sales Executive is responsible for assisting and supporting the sales manager in developing the base of long-term sources of clients by engaging with prospective clients.

As one of the oldest locally established insurance companies in Uganda; First Insurance Company Limited (FICO) has a longstanding history of providing quality insurance policies.

Responsibilities

 Develop marketing strategies to compete with other insurance providers
 Interview prospective clients to obtain information regarding their financial resources, insurance needs, and to discuss the scope of insurance coverage
 Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various insurance products to clients
 Deliver and explain the policy to policyholders and make suggestions for additional cover
 Confer with policyholders to obtain information when claims are made on a policy
 Calculate premium and establish payment method
 Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including necessary medical examinations
 Notify and explain necessary records keeping by the policyholders
 Inspect properties to determine if it is a good insurance risk
 Monitor claims to ensure they are settled fairly for both policyholders and the company
 Perform administrative tasks such as record keeping and processing policy renewals
 Seek out new clientele by networking and generate lists of prospective clients
 Sell insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of the company and
 Such duties as are customarily performed by other persons in a similar position and such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Employer.

Minimum Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in any related field.
