About us:
Baylor Uganda Jobs 2018 : Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation -Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres of Excellence
and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa, Eastern Europe and North America.
Baylor-Uganda is a Sub-recipient (SR) for the Global Fund/TASO HIV/TB grant to implement the HIV prevention programs targeting Adolescents and Young people and high risk populations in 19 districts including Kalangala, Buikwe, Mukono, Kayunga, Luwero, Nakaseke, Kiboga, Kyankwanzi, Nakasongola, Kiryandongo, Masindi, Kibaale, Bulisa, Hoima, Kagadi, Kasese, Ntoroko, Rubirizi and Kisoro.
Overall responsibilities:
Support field teams in proper data collection and reporting
Maintain an up-to-date project database
Assist in the preparation of project periodic reports
Support program teams to analyse and interpret data.
Participate in development of weekly, monthly, quarterly work plans
Monitor and track project implementation of project activities
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Records Information Science and any other relevant qualification
Good computer skills and knowledge of Ms office applications (Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Power point, Ms Access)
Must be able or willing to ride a motorcycle and spend 80% of his/her time in field work.
