Job Summary: 

Insurance Jobs Uganda: The Risk Advisors will be responsible for implementation of marketing and selling initiatives and collaboration of business development strategies to build and establish a strong brand identity for ultimate sales, business growth and profitability performance. They will be paid on a commission basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Prospect and schedule meetings with potential clients
• Follow up on pipelines, quotations and renewals
• Assess client needs and advise them on suitable products, pricing and any other required information
• Ensure timely Premium Collections and receipting of Client Premiums
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders
• Avail client servicing through timely delivery of all documentation and follow-up with customers on all unresolved issues
• Maintain strong company product knowledge, policy features
• Maintain consistency in production and Sales performance
• Maintain and keep appropriate records of clients
• Collect market information and send feedback

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

• The applicants for the Risk Advisor jobs should hold at least hold a diploma in business or related field from a reputable institution (C.O.P qualification, marketing experience and or training in sales/marketing, research will be an added advantage).
• Good working knowledge and application of Microsoft Office Programmes
• Effective communication and presentation skills with fluency in English
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Persistence, Enthusiasm & Aggressiveness
• Excellence at building Contacts, networking and creating long-term relationships
• Good negotiation skills
• Visionary, Strategic & Creative
• Should be smart and presentable
